Spring Convention 2020
Our speakers this year offer a range of diverse topics with something which should suit everyone.
All come highly recommended.
We are very pleased that they have agreed to come to our Convention.
The location for the convention is ‘The Malt Kiln’ at Bardsea Nr Ulverston Cumbria
The Malt Kiln has been recently renovated to a high standard which includes disabled access to the building and a large car park.
Bardsea is an unspoilt Lakeland Village. Lunch can be arranged for delegates at the Old Farmhouse in Ulverston, transport will be provided. The lunch menu includes a choice of two or three course options. Please indicate on the menu which meal you prefer if you wish to go to the pub for lunch. This will aid with the catering on the day, but please only pay for your meal on the day on arrival at the Malt Kiln.
We have facilities for delegates to enjoy their own food at the Malt Kiln if they do not wish to have lunch at the Old Farmhouse.
Tea, coffee and refreshments will be served during registration and at the end of the convention free of charge (a small donation would be gratefully received).
Ulverston, the Furness Peninsular and the surrounding villages are in an area of outstanding beauty and on the edge of the Lake District itself, so it may be a pleasant option to consider staying a little longer than the day of the convention and make the long distance travel you may have had to travel more worthwhile.
